This is such a difficult time for our nation. It is especially difficult for prisoners and their families. Not surprisingly visitation has been cancelled, so in many cases families are left not knowing about the health and well being of each other. Volunteers are also not allowed in for the time being so we cannot even report back to families about their loved ones. As far as we know the prisons in which we work are not on lockdown, at least not for virus related reasons. We hope and pray for strength and courage for our families and for all of us as we weather this crisis.
